BCCLS and the Leonia Public Library are repurposing the online registration to produce a card that will give users access to the central collections (OverDrive and RB Digital) without having to come into the library to register. Leonia residents will also have access to Hoopla and Moazine, which are additional digital content platforms for our patrons.

BCCLS DIGITAL CARD
The Executive Board has approved the creation of a limited Digital Card to provide access to the eBCCLS (OverDrive and RBDigital) collections during the current crisis. This will allow patrons to:
Register for access to OverDrive and RBDigital from their computer or device and be granted immediate access
Change the card to a regular card by visiting Leonia Library after the crisis ends
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Anyone who qualifies for a BCCLS card today qualifies for BCCLS Digital Card. If you already have a library card, you already have access to eBCCLS digital content, and are good to go!
HOW CAN A PERSON SIGN UP?
To get your library card, visit the BCCLS website here! Please note if you sign up through the BCCLS website, you will not have immediate access to Hoopla and other Leonia-specific resources. In order to access Leonia specific items, email us at leoncirc@bccls.org.
WHAT WILL I RECEIVE AFTER REGISTERING?
You will receive a confirmation email or text with your Digital Card number. If you fill out the form through BCCLS, this will include the message “Please reach out to your local library to see if you might qualify for access to more online content.” Email us at leoncirc@bccls.org if you need help accessing Leonia's online content.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CRISIS?
Every Digital Card user gets a notification email or text telling them that their access might be coming to an end. They will be instructed that, if their wish is to transition to a regular card, they should go to the local library to do that transition.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you already have a Leonia Library card you do not need to obtain a BCCLS Digital Card. Your existing Leonia Library card can be used for all digital access.
If you cannot locate your Leonia Library card, please email the library at leoncirc@bccls.org to obtain a replacement card.
If you no longer live in Leonia and reside in another BCCLS town, while registering a for a new card you may receive an error. If so, please email the library at leoncirc@bccls.org for further assistance.

En las bibliotecas públicas del grupo BCCLS sabemos de los retos que enfrentamos en estos tiempos. En respuesta a esto, las bibliotecas públicas están ayudando a los usuarios que no tienen una tarjeta de la biblioteca a registrarse y tener acceso a eBooks, eAudiobooks y eMagazines.
